Macy Cox Photos – Terms of Service

1. Booking & Payment

  • A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your session date. Your date is not confirmed until the retainer is received.

  • The remaining balance is due on or before the day of the session, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Payments can be made via Venmo (@Macy23lou), cash, or check (payable to Macy Cox Photos).

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Retainers are non-refundable, but may be transferred to a new date if rescheduled within 30 days of the original session date.

  • If the client fails to appear or cancels without 24-hour notice, the session fee is forfeited.

  • In the event of illness or weather concerns, sessions may be rescheduled at the photographer’s discretion to the next available date.

3. Copyright & Usage

  • All images remain the copyrighted property of Macy Cox Photos.

  • Clients are granted personal use rights, which means you can download, print, and share your photos for personal use only.

  • Images may not be altered, sold, or used for commercial purposes without written consent.

4. Image Delivery

  • Final edited images will be delivered through a private online gallery.

  • Turnaround time varies by session type, generally 2–3 weeks.

  • Macy Cox Photos retains the right to use images for portfolio, website, and social media purposes unless otherwise requested in writing before the session.

5. Liability

  • Macy Cox Photos is a fully insured photography business and operates under a registered DBA.

  • While every effort is made to ensure safety, the photographer is not responsible for injury, damage, or loss that may occur during a session.

  • Macy Cox Photos is not liable for loss of images due to equipment malfunction, theft, or unforeseen circumstances.

6. Editing & Artistic Style

  • Clients acknowledge that they have reviewed the photographer’s work and understand the style of editing and posing.

  • Requests for extensive retouching (blemish removal, body modification, etc.) may incur an additional charge.

7. Prints & Products

  • Print quality is only guaranteed through Macy Cox Photos’ professional lab.

  • Macy Cox Photos is not responsible for print quality or color variations from third-party labs.

8. Agreement

By booking a session with Macy Cox Photos, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
